Who we are

FMySchool is an independent service for teachers in China. It is not yet a registered business. For anything about your data, contact us by email at fmyschool@outlook.com or on WeChat (fmyschool).

What we collect

What you send us through the order form, the booking page, WeChat or email, such as your CV, teaching background and contact details, and, for workplace support, the contract, payslips or chats you choose to share.

How we use it

• Only to deliver the service you asked for (purpose limitation).
• We collect only what we need (data minimisation).
• We delete your data when you ask.

Sharing your CV or profile

• We get your written consent before sharing your CV or profile with any recruiter or school.
• We share only with named recipients, for specific roles.
• We do not sell or resell personal data, and we do not store or resell third-party contact databases.

Workplace documents

• You choose what to share. Please don't send passport scans at first contact.
• We handle your contract, payslips and chats only for the service you ordered.
• We delete them when you ask.

The free tools

Our free tools run entirely in your browser. What you type in them is not sent to us or anyone else.

• Draft demand letter: nothing you type is stored.
• Salary tax calculator: nothing you type is stored, unless you tick "Remember my answers on this device". Then your answers are saved only in your own browser on that device, never sent to us, and you can delete them at any time with the "Clear" button.
• Exit Pay Check (离职结算): nothing you type is stored. If you choose "Put this in a letter", your answers are passed to the letter tool on the same page, in your browser, and are not saved anywhere.

Third-party services

Our order forms run on Tally and our call booking runs on Calendly. When you use them, they process the data you enter. Card payments in those forms and booking pages are handled by Stripe, which processes your payment details. We see the payment, not your full card number. Calls take place on Zoom, or on WeChat if you ask for it, and we reply by email and WeChat.

Where your data is stored

These services, and FMySchool itself, are based outside mainland China. When you use our order forms, booking pages, email or WeChat, your details are sent to and processed outside mainland China. We only do this to deliver the service you asked for, and you agree to it when you tick the consent box on our forms and booking pages.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it by withdrawing your consent. Email fmyschool@outlook.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect work already done, but we may not be able to continue a service without the data it needs.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data for up to one year after the services you ordered have been delivered and completed.

You can ask us to delete it earlier, at any time. Email us at fmyschool@outlook.com with the subject DATA DELETION REQUEST, and tell us whether you want specific data deleted (say which) or all of your data.
